Howdy folks,

 

I wanted to give the folks who do the session on Sundays a heads up.

 

A high-school student named Eder has been coming to the Wednesday night session for several weeks now. He's quite accomplished at bike work. It turns out that he used to do championship BMX competition in his native land of Peru (you should see his photos!), but he had to sell his bicycle to help pay for the plane trip to Athens to join his mother here two months ago. Basil and I offered him the blue BMX-style bicycle hanging on the wall, as well as parts for fixing it up, so he can use it to practice with until he can afford to buy a new bicycle. He is quite eager to work on the bike and is hoping to come in this Sunday to look for parts and work on it.

 

So, if he comes in, you'll know what the story is.
