Hi, all.
Participating in CSS has been a major initiative of BRP's for a couple of years.
I am writing to see if any of you will commit to helping teach basic bike repair to approximately a dozen 13 year olds on June 16, 17, 19, ad 20.
Ideally, we'll have one instructor for every 2-3 kids.

The bicycles will be provided by the shop, and we will use materials created for last summer's CSS program.

I look forward to hearing back from you,
Brent

Hi Brent,
We had a big turn out for our camp enrollment/orientation Sunday and were very pleased with the parent support.  The bike class turned out to be a verrrrryyyyy popular request with 11 of the campers signing up to be considered as participants and there are 2 more who arrived late and did not see the sign up sheet.  So, potentially, there are 13 who would like to be in the class. How many would you think would be the maximum you could take?   Also, 4 of the campers who signed up are just getting ready to turn 13. If you think that is too young, I would be okay with telling them that they will have another opportunity next year. Whatever you decide is okay with us.

Re: scheduling.  Usually Peter has set it up for consecutive mornings.  However, this year would it be possible to deviate a little from that as on Wednesdays, which is our field trip day, we are going on all day field trips instead of just afternoon ones.  That would mean the campers would need to be away from the school on Wednesdays.

The best week for the scheduling would be the week of the 16th.  Mon. Tues. Thurs. and Fri.  Last year they finished up a day early so you may not need one of those days.

The camp paid $350.00 last year and would be more than happy to do that again this year as well as pay for any supplies.  Just let me know what you need.

I am very excited about our partnering again and look forward to another great camp session.  Thank you so much for being a part of this and giving so generously of your time and talents.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Becky
