Peter, could you clarify why he's frazzled? Is it because WE are asking for the bikes, or because he's got too much stuff and his superiors want him to clean house? Just curious, as it sounds like this could affect our relationship with ACC-PD.

I wouldn't have expected anyone to put pressure on the police to give us bikes ASAP, but rather that the police would just let us know when it's time for them to purge what bikes they have. My understanding is that we were just looking to get official "dibs" on the unclaimed impound bikes before they get auctioned off for donut money or whatever.

ACC-PD will have 8-11 bicycles available for pickup on Wed or Thurs (Aug 6 & 7) between 8A-4:30P.
Is someone available and willing to pickup these bicycles from Lexington Rd station?
I will coordinate the day and time.

On a related note, I have been in conversation with Sgt Mark Anthony who is in charge of impound property. He is feeling somewhat frazzled by his task load, in part because his superiors have applied some pressure to release the bikes. Sgt Anthony asked that I be the primary point of contact with ACC-PD regarding impounded bikes. I am happy to relay any requests that you may have. thanks
