Oh that is so bad. I am holding an Amtrak ticket for an October trip.

I can't help but ask: Why is the government funding highway expansion but 
willing to cut off support for other modes of transportation?

When I factor in increasing petroleum prices and the car manufacturer bailouts, 
I don't much like the spen -- scratch that -- BORROWING pattern.
