Next Group Ride Friday, September 2 at Tate Center

Join us at the next Group Ride starting at UGA's Tate Center at 6 PM.
This month, we will show you a great ride through campus, totalling ~5
miles. We'll stop at Little Kings Shuffle Club for the end-of-ride social
downtown. If you want to return to Tate Center instead, we'll send a

BRP still looking for temporary storage space

During our transition to the new BRP shop, we need warehouse/garage space
to store some bikes. Storage is needed starting in mid-September for a few
months while we get situated. We're looking for 500-800 sq feet to store
bikes, racks, and parts. If you know of a free or inexpensive space,
please email Richard at richardshoe [at] gmail.com

BRP Volunteer Opportunities

BRP workdays are held Mondays & Wednesdays from 6-8 PM and Sundays from
2-4:30 PM at the Chase St. warehouses. Volunteers need not have any
knowledge of bicycle maintenance; just be willing to get their hands dirty
repairing, tuning up, cleaning, and outfitting bikes. Feel free to bring
your own repair stands and tools although it is not necessary that you
have these items to participate.

BikeAthens' Bicycle Recycling program, a cooperative venture with local
social support agencies, distributes reconditioned bikes to individuals in
the Athens community who are underserved by private and public
transportation. We rely exclusively on volunteers to recondition the
bikes. For more info: brp [at] bikeathens.com
