I still don’t like the bill.  It still contains the vague statement that cyclists “riding bicycles and electric assisted bicycles shall not impede the normal and reasonable movement of traffic.”  This can (and will) be used to ticket or otherwise harass cyclists.

You heard it here first:  the Senate threatened to launch an attack on the right to ride 2 abreast and potentially on the 3 foot law.  Georgia Bikes! held them back, with some assistance from BikeAthens.  The bill writers for HB 468 scaled back as a result, and here is the current bill’s summary:
