The Firefly Trail needs volunteers for the Twilight
Criterium.
The Firefly Trail, Incorporated, is
a newly-created organization to guide development of the 39-mile
Firefly Rail-Trail which will connect Athens to Union Point, GA, along the
"Athens Branch" of the historic Georgia Railroad corridor.
We have a group of volunteers working for the
Twilight Criterium event on our behalf, which is providing us with space
for an informational booth during the weekend's downtown
events.
We need two more volunteers to fulfill our
obligation for the 5:15-10:30 shift on Saturday night (during the
races). If you can help, please contact
Mary Cook at mcook [at] oglethorpeonline.com by
Monday April 25.
Volunteers will receive an official "Twilight
Staff" t-shirt. You would need to report to the lower level of the
parking deck on the corner of College Aveneue and Clayton Street at 5:15 for
instructions from Twilight officials.
Thank you! |
