When:  Monday, April 25th, 2011. 7PM, "Hightower Hour" 6pm, "Public Forum" 5pm "Work Session" and "Mixer"

Athens, GA-  Please join America's #1 populist and long-time rail advocate Jim Hightower and Athens rising political stars Russell Edwards and Carlton Segrest as we kick-off our statewide "Rebuild Georgia Railroads" campaign. http://jimhightower.com/

From 5pm to 5:45pm 100 volunteers from across NE Georgia will contact friends, family and neighbors in an informal way asking them for support in our fight for freight and passenger rail improvements in the state of Georgia.

Local food advocates and Foundry Park Inn executive chef Martin Smetana will provide food and drinks for our volunteers.

All events are free and open to the public.
